News on the Home Front

It’s Monday, and minus the toddler who is still sleeping at 9:30am with a terrible cold – it’s gonna be a good week.  A guh-ood week.

We have some wonderful news to share with all of you….

We are expecting a new addition to the family.  Beckett is going to be a big sister! Due date is October 10th – which fits in perfectly with our anniversary of 2/2 and Beckett’s due date of 9/9.

We are so excited!!

I am thinking that this news helps explain the bit of blah that has been hovering over my writing the past three months and the total lack of enthusiasm I have had for anything that doesn’t involve napping or laying down.  The nausea has been paralyzing to the say the least.  The exhaustion has been just that.  But, the heartbeat has been strong (176 beats per minute!) and we are all healthy.  It’s a blessing.

Here’s to the ride of pregnancy again, a healthy mama and a healthy baby and the joy of bringing a new life into this world!!
