What to do with your “Ample Harvest”

Have you ever had corn coming out of your ears?!  Zucchini up to your eyeballs?!  Tomatoes galore?!

If so, I just found the place for you: http://ampleharvest.org/.  Ample Harvest is a non-profit organization that houses a nationwide database of food pantries and food banks that accept donations of fresh produce.  It’s a wonderful resource for helping gardeners unload their abundance and supply the needy and less fortunate with FRESH food.

Yes, I am aware of this local program. It’s just local right? This website has an interesting concept because it is completely nationwide. Small Potatoes is a great project and really hits the homes in Whatcom County that need help -
